Lennie and Curley's Big Fight

In part 3, when Lennie laughs at Curley for wearing Vaseline gloves, Curley gets mad at Lennie. Curley is not happy that Lennie and the others always laugh at him. "Curley stepped over to Lennie like a terrier. 'What's the h*** you laughin' at?'" Lennie is confused and does not get what Curley is saying. Then Curley explodes and tells Lennie to fight him. Lennie does not want to fight so he looks over at George. George doesn't do anything and let's Lennie fight it on his own. After Lennie had been beaten up many times, he finally did something. Lennie grabbed Curley with his fist. Curley has no power now. Lennie did not mean to hurt anyone. I think that because Lennie did something, the two may get kicked off the farm and have to look for another place to work at.
